Key Highlights of the Team’s Infrastructure Development History
- The formation and greenfield development of Vopak Moda Houston, a world-class deepwater storage and terminaling facility in the Port of Houston built to handle anhydrous ammonia and specialty pressurized gases, including the development of a large-scale low-carbon ammonia export opportunity with three international partners.
- The acquisition and further expansion of the Ingleside Energy Center, which quickly became the leading crude oil export facility in the U.S. and provided a critical link to connect the Permian and Eagle Ford basins to global markets. This facility achieved first berthing of VLCCs (Very Large Crude Carriers) at the Port of Corpus Christi and industry-leading loading rates for crude oil exports.
- The acquisition of an interest in Cactus II Pipeline, a long-haul pipeline responsible for delivering Permian crude into the Corpus Christi marketplace.
- The transformational development of Oiltanking Partners, which included world-class terminal facilities in both Houston and Beaumont, Texas, with unparalleled refinery and inbound supply connectivity for crude, refined products, and liquefied petroleum gases. This development also served as a precursor to development of the largest North American liquid petroleum gas export terminal.
